Job summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces including walls, ceilings, and structures, both interior and exterior. This role requires an eye for color, a steady hand, and a passion for producing high-quality finishes.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and washing walls.
• Mix and match paint, stain, and other finishes to job specifications.
• Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas using drop cloths and tape.
• Clean up job sites and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper ventilation and protective gear.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Attention to detail and a steady hand.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina; ability to lift and carry materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
