As a Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering patient care under the guidance of physicians and registered nurses, ensuring safety and compassion at every step.

Your Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care by obtaining and recording vital signs, monitoring respiratory status, and initiating oxygen therapy as needed.
• Emergency Response: In critical situations, administer approved medications and perform necessary procedures under physician supervision.
• Advanced Skills: Utilize your expertise in phlebotomy, IV initiation, medication administration, and more to support patient needs.
• Monitoring: Initiate cardiac monitoring, detect dysrhythmias, and collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Documentation: Accurately document all services provided in the medical record, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to stabilize patients and manage life support needs.
• Safety and Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment, adhere to infection control protocols, and ensure all equipment is ready for use.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A minimum of 1 year as a Paramedic is required; 3 years preferred.
• Certifications: Current Kansas State Paramedic License, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. PALS certification is preferred.

• Schedule: Full-time position with night shifts available.
