Job Summary
The Pathways Fellowship is a paid 13-monthtraining program for people from historically underrepresented and diverse backgrounds interested in starting a career in public health. Pathways Fellows will work at California local health department host sites in a variety of roles where they will improve their public health skills and deliver culturally competent services to the local community. Foundational training will be provided and will focus on the entry-level skills necessary for California's public health workforce. Ongoing continuing education and professional development will continue through the end of the program. Those with High School diploma/GED, Associates degree, or Bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.
