Join Interim HealthCare of Bellevue as we urgently seek compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) to provide dedicated care for a special needs child in the Seattle School District. This role is ideal for healthcare professionals looking for a fulfilling, consistent weekday schedule in a supportive school environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Seattle, WA
• Schedule:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:45 AM - 2:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:45 AM - 1:25 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Compensation:
  • LPN: $34 - $42 per hour
  • RN: $41 - $50 per hour

Special Notes: The nurse will receive the student at school from the parent each morning and hand them back at the end of the day. No bus riding is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct health assessments and create individualized care plans.
• Administer G-tube care, tracheostomy support, and medications.
• Document care activities per the protocols of the school district.
• Assist the school nurse office when the assigned student is absent.

Required Qualifications:

• Active LPN or RN license in Washington State.
• Pediatric nursing experience within the last five years is preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (infants, children, adults).
• Experience with tracheostomy care, tube feeding, and ventilator support is essential.

Key Skills:

• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Reliability and adaptability in a school setting.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility up to 50 lbs.
