Job Summary:
The Physician Liaison will use key strategies, techniques, and tools to engage and communicate to new physicians and provide assistance in community and physician-to-physician introductions, all in compliance with applicable regulations. Analyze and report team activities and referral trends. Executes the preparation of presentations and/or speeches geared toward the community.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area
Must be able to communicate effectively with physicians, payers, patients, and the public and be capable of establishing good working relationships with both internal and external customers
Knowledge & Abilities Knowledge of concepts of marketing, communications, and public relations.
Knowledge of the health care field and orthopedics, neurology, physical therapy, etc.
Knowledge of healthcare electronic medical records systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal andexternal customers and providers
Ability to be organized
Ability to exercise independent judgment
Skills Skill in the development and implementation of marketing lectures/talks.
Skill in promoting the organization in the community
Skill in executing special events
