Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Management/ Senior Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will support a work schedule located onsite in one of our California locations: El Segundo, San Diego, or Palmdale, CA. Essential Functions: As a Principal / Senior Principal Project Manager, you will act as the Lead Global Supply Chain focal/interface to the Program Manager. You will be responsible for execution of overall prime contract and financial objectives across the Global Supply Chain organization. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage material requirements through generation, PO Placement, and material receipt. Monitor supplier performance and develop risk and mitigation plans. Develop briefings for executive and customer leadership. Manage functional staffing needs within program approved EAC. Control Account (CAM) duties of labor and material with focus on forecast accuracy. Basic Qualifications (Level 3): Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years, Master's Degree with 3 years, PhD with 1 year, OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience. Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain; Project Management, Sustainment, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Subcontracts Administration, Procurement, Business Management, or Contracts. Must have aerospace/defense experience. Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access in reasonable time frame deemed by business needs of the Company. Basic Qualifications (Level 4): Must have a Bachelor's Degree with 8 years, Master's Degree with 6 years, PhD with 4 years, OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 12 years of experience. Experience must be in the following: Supply Chain; Project Management, Sustainment, Proposals and/or Capture Efforts, Resource Planning, Accounting, Program Management, Program Scheduling, Program Cost Analysis, Subcontracts Administration, Procurement, Business Management, or Contracts. Must have aerospace/defense experience. Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access in reasonable time frame deemed by business needs of the Company. Preferred Qualifications: Subcontracts and/or procurement experience. Experience in Supplier Management and/or pricing and estimating. Control Account Management (CAM) experience or knowledge of Earned Value principles. Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project. Ability to make sound decisions, or ask for guidance in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective. Salary Range: $91,200 - $136,800 Salary Range 2: $113,500 - $170,300 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
