Primary Duties and Responsibilities Accounts for program development efforts of a specialized American treatment program, including program design, content, curriculum, administration and management in collaboration with SPRTC Senior Management team. Manages case management and therapeutic activities for the American youth. Supervise Therapist, American Program. Supervise American Marketing Liaison. Oversees marketing and admission in the American Program from Tribal communities. Ensures treatment planning and portfolio management of all American youth from Tribal communities. Manages all customer service issues related to American youth from Tribal communities. Participates in staffing or multidisciplinary meeting by sharing observations and recommendations regarding the facility, American and Pacific Islander youth to identify and solve problems and function as a unified team. Participates in staffing or multidisciplinary meeting to develop or review plans for American youth discharging from the facility, including transitional services with emphasis on tribal collaboration. Ensures the individual and community development and implementation of culturally specific programming. Provides Cultural Trainings, Sanctuary Trainings, and other trainings to all staff. Communicates the youth’s special needs to all staff so that they are able to be more effective in their interaction with the youth and crisis intervention can be implemented. Is available to American and Pacific Islander youth to discuss matters of personal nature, so that they receive the support and feedback necessary to make positive behavioral changes. Conducts informal group sessions as needed with American and Pacific Islander youth and staff to familiarize new American and Pacific Islander youth with program requirements, staff and other youths. Maintains confidentiality obtained through job duties regarding employees, vendors, youths, and outside agencies so that sensitive information is only given on a "need to know" basis. Completes in‑service training to meet the requirements for continued personal and professional self‑development. Complies with Geo Care Inc. work rules and policies as explained in the company Employee Handbook, the Facility Policies and Procedures Manual; and responds positively to directives from managers and supervisors in a cooperative spirit to ensure conformance to standards. Adheres to Geo Care Inc.’s attendance policy; is available to work all shifts; work overtime as required; ensures adequate coverage of the program and ensures the safety and security of the youths. Transports American and Pacific Islander youth as needed or required by contracting agencies or facility initiated. Ensures facility safety rules are followed; takes appropriate corrective action to ensure work is performed in a safe manner and without injury to self or others. Communicates effectively with all levels of staff in a manner that promotes a team spirit and a sense of cooperation. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, sociology, psychology, criminal justice or a closely related field. Two years of professional treatment experience (or educational substitutions for work experience) may be applied on a year‑for‑year basis (approved by state licensing agency). Able to deal effectively and therapeutically with dysfunctional behavior. Communicate effectively in oral and written form. Assess treatment and supervision needs of youth in custody.
