Overview Project Manager Roadway Design (Civil & Traffic Engineering) at SI Engineering, P.C. SI Engineering, P.C. is an engineering firm serving New York and New Jersey with civil, structural, electrical, and transportation engineering, as well as bridge and facility inspections, program/construction management, and construction inspection. Our projects include revitalizing local communities and high-profile infrastructure initiatives. Responsibilities Manage all phases of roadway design projects from concept through construction documentation. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams including civil and traffic engineers. Serve as primary liaison with clients. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control. Ensure compliance with design standards and specifications. Review and approve technical reports, design plans, and traffic studies. Lead client meetings, public outreach, and stakeholder coordination as needed. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. 12+ years of experience in roadway and traffic design. Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State required. Experience with NYC/NYS agency standards and projects for agencies such as NYCDDC, PANYNJ, NYCDEP, MTA, NYSDOT, NYCDOT. Demonstrated experience in project delivery including management of client relationships and project deliverables. Ability to manage multiple technical assignments to meet client satisfaction while maintaining schedule and budget. Strong technical competence and working relationships with clients. Self-starter with collaborative work style and ability to drive outcomes. Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Compensation & Benefits Expected salary range is $125,000 - $165,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location. 17 PTO days per year, with an additional PTO day for every year after five years. 10 paid holidays per year. 100% 401K matching, up to 5% of employee income.
