Job Title: Radiology Manager

Location: Callaway, Nebraska

Facility: Callaway District Hospital and Medical Clinic

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

Position Summary

The Radiology Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Radiology Department, ensuring high-quality imaging services, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and excellent patient care. This role combines clinical expertise with strong management and organizational skills to support efficient, safe, and patient-centered imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, workflow, and resource allocation
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate radiologic technologists and support staff
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards (e.g., ACR, Joint Commission, state regulations)
• Maintain quality control, imaging protocols, and radiation safety programs
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and leadership to optimize patient care and department performance
• Address patient concerns and ensure a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent combination of Diagnostic Imaging education and experience
• Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Currently Nebraska License

• Advanced imaging experience (CT, MRI, Mammography, or Interventional Radiology) and supervisor experience.
• Excellent Leadership, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
