Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible Reach Truck Operator to join our team. This role requires operating a Reach Truck forklift in a storage cooler with temperatures as low as minus 20 degrees. The position involves picking orders and staging them efficiently.
ResponsibilitiesWe offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and 401k upon permanent employment. Employees enjoy a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. There are ample opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Work EnvironmentThe facility is located in Medley and is a food distribution center catering to numerous clients. The front area temperature ranges from 40 to 45 degrees, while the back area, where the Reach Truck Operators work most of the day, is minus 20 degrees. The environment is fast-paced, especially during the peak season from July to November. Safety is a priority, and all employees must wear steel-toe boots and appropriate gear for the cold temperatures.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Medley, Florida.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
