Chicagoland Recycling Manager

Pay Rate :

$129,000-158,700

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Develop a commercial plan for the Chicagoland Recycling Market, Cook County and a collar counties.

• Responsible for the financial performance of the business top line (P&L responsibility) for the Itasca Recycling Plant.

• Manage commercial sales development and execution through modern processes

• Lead two Recycling Sales Reps whose primary role is to sell plant recycling services to new and existing customers as well as the Plant Operations Manager, who directly manages plant operations.

• Develop a thorough understanding of the local Recycling market and develop a commercial go to market plan based upon International Paper’s 80/20 go to market process

• Effectively communicate commercial operating plans, performance goals and expectations to all team members

• Support the business mission and vision by modeling desired behaviors, communicating and reinforcing key messages through daily activities and interactions

• Responsible for leading and directing the development, training, and performance of commercial team members

• Accountable for effective management of human resources

The Skills You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience (preferred)
• Management experience: ability to influence and lead all levels of an organization

• Commercial sales experience
• Knowledge and experience managing a recycling facility (preferred)
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
