Overview
In this role, you will deliver professional nursing care to patients within our medical practice, supporting and following the directives of physicians. You will assist in patient treatment and manage associated clinical documentation. A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor is essential when engaging with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. • Qualifications
• Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with nursing principles, care procedures, examination techniques, and treatment protocols. Understanding of medications, their effects, patient education, self-care program development, and safety practices.
• Licensure: A valid state nursing license is required.
• Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
• Certifications: CPR certification is required or must be obtained within 90 days of starting employment.
• Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Proficiency in assisting with various medical treatments and procedures. Ability to remain calm and effective in emergencies. Capability to interpret and apply guidelines and policies. Strong communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with patients, staff, and the public. Basic computer skills or the willingness to learn to access information and input clinical data. Must be able to operate equipment relevant to the clinic's specialty.
