Job Description
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and servant-leader minded Scrum Master to facilitate and guide our Agile teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate is passionate about Agile principles, experienced in coaching teams, and adept at removing impediments to ensure team success.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a servant leader and coach for one or more Agile teams.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives).
Remove team impediments and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Guide teams to higher levels of Agile maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for them.
Shield the team from outside distractions and interruptions.
Ensure the team adheres to Agile values, principles, and practices.
Work with Product Owners to ensure a well-prepared and prioritized backlog.
Promote transparency, inspection, and adaptation within the team and with stakeholders.
Collect, analyse, and present metrics that help the team and organization improve delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or similar role in an Agile environment.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent) required.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.) and their underlying principles.
Excellent facilitation, conflict resolution, and servant leadership skills.
Experience working with distributed and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Rally, VersionOne, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Advanced Scrum Master or Agile Coach certification (PSM II, CSP-SM, SAFe SPC, etc.).
Experience in scaled Agile environments.
Remote Pay Range
$70—$75 USD
