Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team during this tax season. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax preparation, regulations and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities: Prepare and file individual and/or business tax returns accurately and efficiently. Conduct thorough client interviews to gather necessary tax information. Review financial records such as income statements, expenses, and previous tax returns to determine the most appropriate tax strategies for clients. Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws, regulations, and deadlines. Respond to client inquiries regarding tax preparation and filing processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 5 years of proven experience as a Tax Preparer or similar role. Thorough knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures. Proficiency in tax preparation software. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additional Information: This is a seasonal position with varying hours depending on the tax season workload. Training and support will be provided to ensure success in the role.
