At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in Spencer, IA:

Pay: $16.25 / hour
*Includes insurance, vacation pay, holiday pay, paid training, uniforms provided, 401k and more!

Shift:

• Thursday - Sunday: Thursdays - 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm/ Fridays & Saturdays - 5:30 pm - 6:00 am/ Sundays - 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm

About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on the activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
• Vehicle patrols of client property (company vehicle provided during work hours).
• Routine foot patrols inside and outside.
• Other security-related duties as assigned.
• On-the-job training provided.

Your background:

• You’re able to pass an extensive screening process.
• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service skills.
• You’re able to pass an extensive screening process including a physical exam (physical does not include testing for stamina, flexibility, or strength).
• Ability to physically respond to emergencies by running, lifting, and swift physical maneuvers.
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Ability to lift metal barriers and objects 20 - 60 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain an Iowa State Security license (GARDWORLD will pay for and help to obtain during our hiring process).
