At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we're in. We're growing our team here in Irving, TX!
Compensation: $16.50 hour
Shift: Multiple positions are available! Specific schedules will be discussed during phone interview.
- Mornings: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
- Evenings: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)
- Nights: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (weekdays and weekends)
About the job: - Excellent customer service is always a top priority.
- Handles inquiries made by the public and clients.
- Conducts screenings of persons upon entry to the facility.
- Controls, regulates and directs pedestrian traffic.
- May perform desk duties, including telecommunications (telephone, computer, radio).
- Prepares clear, accurate, and complete reports on all activities as required.
- Foot and Vehicle Patrol when warranted.
- Working in a giant fulfillment center and surrounding areas including parking lot and trailer yard.
- Entry/Exit screening in the lobby and roving patrols.
- Monitor and manage the Security/Front Desk. Give directions to guests. Use a computer visitor management system. Printing and disseminating of badges.
- Controlling access and ensuring only authorized personnel are given access to the site.
- Camera and alarm surveillance. Walking in and around the building, up and down stairs, and through parking lots.
- Advanced customer service skills. Proficiency with computers and smartphone technology.
Your Background: - You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
- You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
- If you have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience - even better!
- You have a Texas Security License (GardaWorld will help to obtain this license during the hiring process).
- You have a CPR certification (GardaWorld will help to obtain this license during the hiring process).
- You are at least 18 years of age or older (21 years of age or old for driving positions) as required by applicable law or contractual requirement.
- You have a valid driver's license (for driving positions) with a good driving history (pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check).
