WHAT WE PROVIDE:

This is a full-time position at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Phoenix, AZ. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.5/hr with benefits including:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Security Department is looking for a dedicated, reliable, and experienced individual to join the team as a Security Shift Supervisor. You will oversee daily security operations, ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and park property. You will lead and manage a team of security personnel to maintain a secure environment throughout the park.

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

Supervise and direct security personnel during your shift, ensuring all duties are performed effectively and efficiently

Perform routine patrols throughout the park to monitor safety and security

Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, security threats, and guest disturbances

Oversee the monitoring and operation of surveillance systems, including CCTV, alarms, and radio communications

Ensure the security team is properly equipped, trained, and following procedures

Document incidents, accidents, and other activities accurately in daily logs

Provide training and guidance to new security team members

Conduct safety drills and review security policies regularly

Handle guest interactions and resolve conflicts in a professional manner

Collaborate with management to improve safety measures and operations

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Must be at least 21 years of age

Previous supervisory experience in security or law enforcement required

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Able to handle confidential information responsibly

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Able to work flexible/rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Ability to pass background check and drug screening

OTHER NOTES:

May perform other duties beyond the scope of the description as necessary to support the park as a whole

Reports to the Security Department Leadership
