Senior Contracts Manager & Facility Security Officer

About the Role

Were seeking an experienced contracts and security professional to build and lead our contracts department from the ground up while serving as our Facility Security Officer (FSO). This is a unique opportunity to shape critical infrastructure at a fast-growing technology company supporting federal clients. Youll have the autonomy to establish scalable processes, systems, and cadences that will evolve as the company grows.

What Youll Own

As Senior Contracts Manager:

• Build our contracts department from scratch: design processes, templates, workflows, and systems
• Own the full federal contract lifecyclefrom cradle to graveensuring FAR/DFARS compliance while maintaining startup agility
• Draft, negotiate, and manage complex federal contracts (FFP, T&M, CPFF, hybrid structures)
• Serve as the primary interface with government COs, CORs, and KOs
• Lead commercial contract negotiations and management (reseller agreements, teaming agreements, partnerships, and strategic alliances)
• Establish subcontractor management processes and compliance frameworks for federal and commercial contracts
• Create scalable solutions for proposal development, contract administration, and performance monitoring
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and prime contractors while protecting company interests
• Create and implement company-wide contract management policies, procedures, and training materials

As Facility Security Officer (FSO):

• Lead the companys facility security program under NISP/NISPOM requirements, serving as liaison with DCSA
• Manage personnel security clearance processes, including TS/SCI maintenance, investigations, and records management in DISS/NBIS
• Design and implement tailored security protocols covering access control and incident response
• Foster a strong security culture through training programs and awareness initiatives
• Communicate directly with DCSA representatives on all security matters
• Navigate Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) requirements and develop mitigation strategies as needed

What You Bring

• Active TS/SCI clearance and current FSO certification (required)
• 10+ years of combined experience in federal contracts administration and facility security management
• Proven experience engaging directly with COs/KOs and managing FAR/DFARS-compliant contracts
• Experience negotiating and managing commercial agreements (teaming, reseller, and strategic partnerships)
• Deep familiarity with DCSA processes, NISPOM compliance, and federal security program management
• Demonstrated success building departments, processes, and templates from the ground up
• Startup mindsetcomfortable with ambiguity, multitasking, and working quickly while maintaining compliance
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
• Ability to distill complex regulatory frameworks into actionable business processes
• Preferred: Experience with FOCI mitigation measures (Proxy Agreements, SSA, or Voting Trust Agreements)
