We are nimble and maintain a sense of urgency, swiftly adapting to change and overcoming obstacles.The opportunityAltruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team.Your impactComplete automation suite for regression testing and functional test suiteReduction of Bug leakagePartner with engineering and product management to ensure quality delivery of every feature being developedMentor junior team members and be a role modelEnhance the automation framework to enhance the scalabilityIdentify and develop design patterns and practices within the quality assurance teamBuilding Mock services/alternate testing techniques to increase test coverageWhat You BringExperience - 5+ years of experience in building front and back end automation framework at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organizationEducation - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer ScienceTechnical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacksUnderstanding of software testing methodologies and test-driven developmentUnderstanding of databases, SQL, and application serveStrong experience with JavaOwnership - The pride you put into every aspect of your work is unparalleled and undeniableSuperb communication - Intentional dialogue is a superpower.
