What you’ll do Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud‑based infrastructure. Develop and implement automation tools and processes to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management of infrastructure and applications. Promote a culture of reliability engineering, collaborating with development, operations, and QA across multiple levels within the organization. Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance and resource utilization. Maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to detect and respond to incidents in a timely manner. Lead incident response efforts during outages or service disruptions, conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures. Continuously evaluate and implement best practices, tools, and technologies to improve system reliability, scalability, and security. Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. What you have 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role in a fast‑paced startup environment. Deep understanding of cloud computing principles and experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Java. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Solid understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP stack, and experience with network troubleshooting and configuration. Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot issues under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment. Where you’ll live While we prefer candidates based in Atlanta, we are open to qualified applicants from anywhere in the U.S. and are willing to consider remote candidates. Compensation The typical salary range for this position is $160,000 to $185,000.
