They collaborate with multiple hospital departments to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies for surgeries and other patient care needs. This role requires certification in sterile processing and at least three years of relevant experience, emphasizing patient safety and infection control within a healthcare environment.
Description
The Tech-Sterile Processing 2 is responsible for the effective cleaning, inspection, maintenance, proper sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for surgical cases as well as other procedures requiring sterile supplies and/or instrumentation.
