Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Truss Designer, located in Lakeland, FL.
• The Senior Truss Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed architectural drawings and truss designs, collaborating closely with structural engineers and general building contractors.
• Daily tasks include designing wooden trusses, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing excellent customer service by addressing client needs and project specifications.
• The Senior Truss Designer will play a crucial role in supporting our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Truss and Timber design
• Experience creating and interpreting Architectural Drawings
• Strong Customer Service skills to manage client interactions and project requirements
• Knowledge of Structural Engineering principles
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field is preferred
• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in truss design or a related field.
