Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a part of our rehabilitation team. This onsite position is perfect for a committed and talented therapist eager to positively impact the lives of seniors.

About Us

At our organization, our primary aim is to excel in everything we do — providing a fulfilling life for our residents, their families, and our staff. As a leading provider of assisted living and memory care facilities throughout the Western United States, we are passionate about fostering vibrant and supportive environments where residents can flourish.

“Our primary aim is to excel in everything we do, ensuring a fulfilling life for our residents, their families, and our staff.” - Evrett Benton, CEO

If you seek a workplace that values its people, we encourage you to explore opportunities with us!

Founded in 2012, our privately-owned family organization has consistently expanded, adding new senior living communities each year. We are on a growth trajectory and are eager to welcome top talent to join our journey.

Why You’ll Enjoy Working Here

  • Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Alongside a leading salary, full-time team members are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Additionally, we offer a generous Paid Time Off policy, a 401(k) plan with company matching, holiday pay, and more.

  • Opportunities for Advancement: As a growing organization, we provide pathways for career progression and company-sponsored training. We also offer tuition reimbursement and ongoing learning opportunities.

  • Work Perks: Depending on your role and community, you may enjoy complimentary meals during shifts, on-demand pay (access to your earnings as you earn them), and a collaborative, supportive work environment.

The Role

In your capacity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat residents experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing challenges. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to create and implement tailored therapy plans aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life and independence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on residents’ specific needs and objectives.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions, including compensatory techniques, exercises, and alternative communication methods.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on effective communication and swallowing management strategies.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and effective care.
  • Track residents’ progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate documentation of outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and precise documentation in line with regulatory and facility standards.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the success of the rehabilitation department.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Colorado.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation environments is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on resident-centered care.
  • Familiarity with documentation and electronic medical records (EMRs).

Join Us

If you are ready to apply your skills and compassion in a mission-driven organization where both residents and employees are valued, we invite you to apply and advance your career with us.

We are an equal opportunity employer and do not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.

To maintain a safe environment for all employees, residents, families, and visitors, we strongly encourage our staff to receive an FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccination, along with any recommended booster doses from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). To support this initiative, we periodically organize onsite vaccination clinics at various locations. However, being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 is not a condition of employment.
