Role Description Elevation Marketing is looking for Sr. Content Copywriter (B2B). This is a full-time on-site role (with two work-from-home days a month or four half-days) located in the greater Phoenix area. This role involves developing and creating engaging long form copy and content, developing content strategies, conducting research, writing persuasive copy for both traditional and digital media forms, and ensuring high-quality proofreading. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in content strategy, branding, positioning, storytelling, advertising, and messaging. This role requires a versatile writer capable of producing high-impact content across a wide range of formats, including branding materials, digital campaigns, websites, social media, video scripts, sales collateral, and more. The successful candidate will craft compelling narratives for both overarching brand initiatives and specific product communications. They will also engage directly with senior stakeholders, including C‑suite and VP‑level executives, at leading billion‑dollar brands and smaller companies that may be pre‑revenue, contributing to strategic discussions and helping shape brand and product messaging at the highest level. Key Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related discipline. Demonstrated expertise in developing B2B content and strategic messaging frameworks. Strong portfolio showcasing relevant writing samples across various formats and industries. Agency experience preferred. Solid understanding of current technologies, including cloud computing, open‑source platforms, and emerging AI technologies. Experience with leveraging AI tools for content needs when appropriate. Key Responsibilities Write and edit high‑quality content across a variety of channels, including print, direct mail, email, marketing collateral (e.g., product sheets, case studies, white papers), social media, advertising, web, and mobile platforms. Develop and guide brand and product positioning tools, messaging frameworks, and strategic content assets to support brand growth and market differentiation. Lead content strategy initiatives for select B2B clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and audience needs. Create compelling B2B content for clients across diverse industries, including technology, manufacturing, agriculture, and industrial sectors. Facilitate and lead brand, positioning, and messaging workshops and strategic sessions with clients. Craft engaging brand and product narratives that resonate with target audiences and clearly communicate value propositions. Collaborate closely with project teams to brainstorm ideas, develop unique concepts, and shape messaging for campaigns and marketing initiatives. Present creative concepts and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, including clients and CMOs. Adhere to industry best practices and client‑specific style guides to ensure consistency and quality. Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop content that aligns with briefs and strategic objectives. Manage content teams, overseeing planning, analysis, organization, and execution of assigned projects. Maintain and evolve brand voice, tone, and messaging standards across all deliverables. Generate a range of creative ideas and copy that support overarching campaign concepts and brand strategies. Engage with C‑suite executives, leveraging research and data to inform and shape product branding and strategic messaging. All our roles are full‑time on‑site role, with two work‑from‑home days a month or four half days a month and we are flexible when it come to “life emergencies” that requires additional flexibility from time to time. We are closed between Christmas and New Years. We do offer flexible hours based on client demands and department structure and typically that means an employee may be able to start at any time between 7 AM and 9 AM and finish between 4 PM and 6 PM. Compensation and Benefits Elevation strives to provide some of the best agency compensation and benefit packages in the great southwest. The salary range is $65,000 to $85,000+ per year based on skills, experience and the range of basic content creation through higher level branding/messaging/positioning and content strategy work a candidate can perform on behalf of our clients. The job is in Gilbert, AZ (just off Loop 202 expressway) and less than one mile from over 50 restaurants. Elevation pays for 95% of employee’s life, health and long‑term disability insurance.
