Job Overview: Senior Laboratory Technician – Product Development Keurig Coffee Brewers is expanding its research capabilities and is seeking a lab technician to support our thermo-fluids research team. In this unique role, you will work with a cross functional team of hardware and software engineers to build and test various innovative solutions to challenges facing our next generation appliance designs. You will fabricate test beds as well as execute experimental test plans to help expedite rapid learning loops enabling acceleration of development. Shift/Schedule: This is a full-time position working on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Flexibility to work outside of normal schedule, including weekends and holidays, is required. Position Responsibilities Design and develop test beds for new appliance applications including sensor instrumentation, thermo-fluid management and integration of electromechanical components. Execute test plans and record, analyze, interpret and organize data working collaboratively with our cross functional team. Maintain availability of lab supplies and test materials per timely ordering and inventory management. Work within an agile development environment while continuously improving lab procedures and measurement system best practices. Setup and run data acquisition tasks to collect multiple types of system output data. Participate in design reviews and regular team meetings to share insights and provide feedback on design evaluations. Total Rewards: Pay Range starting at $25.00 - $35.00 per hour. Placement within the salary range will be determined by experience and other factors. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams globally. A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with lab safety protocols and best practices. Ability to work on-site full time with local design team members at Benton Harbor site.
