Responsibilities Lead a growth-oriented sales culture to achieve store business performance results. Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the Five Below service model that empowers the crew to say yes to customers. Anticipate customer needs and create an amazing store environment. Lead execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards in alignment with Brand Standards. Develop a High Performing Crew Hire and engage talented employees with the skills for the right store role at the right time. Foster inclusion and diversity and ensure people feel cared for and connected. Provide training, coaching, and consistent feedback to inspire accountability. Present facts clearly, coach effectively, and actively listen to inspire trust and respect of direct reports. Partner with District Manager and Human Resources for coaching, performance documentation, and employee relations matters. Maintain a safe environment for customers and crew. Execute a talent plan to attract and retain top talent and make Five Below an employer of choice. Foster career growth through development planning and performance coaching. Develop internal and external networks to support recruitment and succession planning for the store. Drive a Consistent Business Analyze business results and use reports and metrics to drive performance in sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing. Balance competing priorities and focus on what is critical. Develop and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules to balance financial responsibility with customer expectations and availability. Ensure execution of financial controls, operational controls, and adherence to policies. Oversee receiving, stocking procedures, inventory, and data integrity. Monitor merchandise flow and sell-through; perform store maintenance (cleaning, stock room, etc.). Ensure compliance with SOPs and corporate communications; prioritize and plan accordingly.
