Responsibilities

Physician Assistant that would be responsible for performing patient evaluations, reviewing pretreatment teaching, recommending therapeutic intervention, counseling patients and families and collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for physician's assistants in collaboration with the Director. Provider would serve as primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.

MINIMUM

Minimum 3 years clinical experience in related area or specialty field.

Background in pre-med.

Bachelor's Degree

Degree as a Physician Assistant

Certification as Physician Assistant from Arizona Joint Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners.

Must hold and maintain:
(1) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License,
(2) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant,
(3) Valid DEA registration,
(4) American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and
(5) American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
