Career TEAM is seeking a dynamic and motivated Training Coordinator to join our North Bay team! The Training Coordinator will play a vital part in delivering impactful, customer-focused services designed to equip WIOA-eligible and unemployed job seekers with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to succeed in today's workforce. As a key member of our dedicated team, you will support our mission to accelerate the human condition by designing and facilitating innovative workforce development training, fostering growth, and creating meaningful learning experiences for program participants. As the Training Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Community & Business Partnerships team and local training providers to create and implement group training and cohort-based models tailored to the needs of North Bay's workforce. Additionally, you will deliver industry-specific curriculum to enhance career awareness and help job seekers explore viable career pathways that align with their skills and goals. This position is expected to be 100% onsite (with the choice of working from our offices in Napa, Novato, Ukiah, or Lakeport).

Your Impact on Career TEAM's Success :

• Facilitate group workshops and one-on-one sessions to assess participant eligibility and provide comprehensive information on available training opportunities
• Collaborate with the Community & Business Partnerships team and training providers to coordinate group training cohorts, work-based learning sites (WEXs), On-the-Job Trainings (OJTs), Transitional Jobs, and Temporary Work opportunities
• Participate in evaluating participants' marketability and skills to determine training suitability and make appropriate referrals based on local labor market trends, industry hiring patterns, and high-priority occupations
• Support participants and staff in the completion and review of Individual Training Account (ITA) packets, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with program requirements
• Provide regular updates to Career Advisors, including a pipeline of prospective training candidates, available training programs, and relevant training providers
• Collaborate with Career Advisors to identify necessary support services that will enhance participants' training success and employment outcomes
• You will be responsible for delivering industry-focused career guidance curricula and providing career coaching
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all participant interactions and services provided in CalJOBS
• Support off-site events, recruitment efforts, and training-related outreach as needed
• Monitor and report on individual and team progress toward training-related goals using designated tracking systems and databases

To Qualify for This Role, You Must Have :

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Social Services, Business Administration, or a related field; or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in workforce development or case management services, along with a relevant professional certification
• Experience working with diverse populations reflective of the North Bay area, with a demonstrated understanding of their unique experiences and needs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with in-depth knowledge of local community resources and support services
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make sound, well-informed decisions
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and form meaningful relationships with participants, partners, and colleagues
• Proficient in active listening, coaching, and clear communication to support participant development
• Multilingual candidates strongly preferred, with a special emphasis on Spanish-speaking applicants
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software platforms
• Ability to accurately complete and submit documentation, reports, and forms promptly
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

Salary: $55,000-$60,000 annually

Travel : Position may require local travel up to 10% of the time
