Job Description

Job Title: Training Specialist Locartion: Vacaville, CA Position Summary: The Training Specialist will support learning plan management and be responsible for processing requests and running standard reports within the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS). This role will collaborate with internal business clients and the learning team to manage assignments, observers, curriculum, learning objects, reports, and learner inquiries. Key Responsibilities Serve as the initial point of contact for requests, handling basic inquiries and troubleshooting simple issues; escalate mid-complex issues as necessary. Execute LMS transactions using the Cornerstone Admin role and Reporting 2.0. Perform routine file management of GMP training records in compliance with document management standards. Process routine data entry of GMP training records and requests, ensuring timely completion per training record procedures and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Assess and apply training and curriculum standards to requests. Support learners with navigation and logistical questions for web-based training. Manage and interpret complex spreadsheets and high volumes of data. Identify and solve problems creatively and strategically using established standards and procedures. Facilitate training sessions as needed. Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs. Qualifications Education/Experience: ~ AS/BS/BA in Education, Biological Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Engineering; OR ~6 years' experience in a customer service environment; OR ~ Combination of college coursework and related work experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong attention to detail with the ability to verify work for accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all organizational levels. Ability to identify and address problems proactively, escalating when appropriate. Strong analytical skills. Experience influencing change within customer groups and teams (a plus). Familiarity with continuous improvement and problem-solving tools (a plus). Cornerstone OnDemand LMS Admin experience is highly preferred.
