• Location: Tacoma, WA 98405 – Washington healthcare jobs\n
• Facility Setting: Operating Room (OR) with 20 OR suites, including CVOR, General, Neuro, Ortho, Pediatrics, ENT, Trauma, Urology, and Outpatient Surgery\n
• Start Date: November 3, 2025\n
• End Date: January 31, 2026\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week\n
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 - $2250 per week\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Washington State preferred\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (CVOR experience required)\n
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotic surgical systems (robotic OR experience required)\n
• Ability to scrub and/or circulate in the OR\n
• Experience with blood administration, arterial line assistance, and wound vacs\n
• Traveler Telemetry Competency (must be completed and passed prior to start)\n
• First-time travel nurses with strong OR experience are encouraged to apply\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver skilled perioperative nursing care in a high-volume OR environment\n
• Float between CVOR and General Surgery as needed\n
• Participate in trauma call team assignments\n
• Assist with a variety of surgical procedures: CABG, TAVR, valve repairs, vascular, neuro, orthopedic, trauma, emergency general, GYN, GI, and GU surgeries\n
• Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists (24/7 support)\n
• Promote a unit culture focused on kindness, collaboration, patient safety, education, and work-life balance\n
• Attend orientation and complete all required competency assessments\n
