Shiloh Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA-accredited general\ncare hospital that practices progressive, compassionate medicine and\nsurgery. We schedule to make sure our doctors and team\nget a long lunch break—we all need a break from the day! \nWe talk to our team about policy changes before they happen and\nencourage their feedback. We demonstrate this by giving them the\nopportunity to learn and grow. How do we\nensure this happens? We are closed every\nWednesday for an hour to guarantee our team has time for training and\ndevelopment. We also have snack drawers,\npot lucks, Crumble Cookie deliveries, bad jokes, and time for puppy snuggles\nwhen the days get tough. We work together as a cohesive team, have the BEST\nclients, and truly enjoy what we do!
We believe in work/life balance and offer a schedule of\n four-9 hour shifts with rotating four-hour shifts on Saturdays . All of our after-hour emergencies are referred\nto our sister hospital, Moore Lane Veterinary Hospital which means none of our\ndoctors are ever on call. To ensure our\ndoctors have a strong work/life balance, we only schedule wellness exams for\ntheir last appointment before lunch and their last appointment at the end of\nthe day. Most days, our doctors are\nheaded home about 15 minutes after closing. We care about our team and that shows in our benefits\nwhich include a competitive salary (our current doctors bring in around $115k-160k per year on a pro-sal model) , CE allowance of $,1500 annually, and three\ndays paid, state and DEA licensing fees, enrollment into VIN, liability and\nmalpractice insurance, 401K with company match, generous portion of health\ninsurance paid, and availability of dental and vision insurance among others.

We are located less than an\nhour away from the Beartooth Mountains with plenty of recreational\nopportunities right in our backyard. We\nhave eight national parks in our state so four-day work weeks allow for plenty\nof time to explore them all! We love our\nbreweries and have eight local breweries right here in Billings. If arts and culture are important to you, then\nyou will love our three live theaters, four movie theaters, multiple live music\nvenues, galleries, museums, and a variety of historical sites. Do you have kiddos? We have plenty to entertain them as well! We have a zoo, indoor and outdoor water\nparks, a variety of local sports leagues they can get involved in, an indoor\ntrampoline park, a skate park, roller skating, and ice skating.
