Description
What Will You Do? The Facilities/Warehouse Associate is responsible for keeping spaces, structures, and infrastructure clean and in proper operating condition in a routine, scheduled, or anticipated fashion to prevent failure and/or degradation. This position also provides support to the warehouse team as necessary.
To grow and build a successful career with Wesco Turf, you will be responsible for:
- Assist with unloading inbound deliveries, either with forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
- Accurately select equipment and stage for internal and external customer orders.
- Assist Wesco drivers in the loading unloading of equipment, taking care to prevent damage
- Assist customers with loading, securing, and unloading equipment including container loads for international shipment.
- Assist parts warehouse. Parts warehouse is responsible for customer orders by picking, packing and processing packages thru the shipping system. In addition, they will do receiving detail check in and put away inbound parts as needed.
- Assure customer service expectations and promote a standard of excellence in customer satisfaction.
- Opens and close buildings according to security procedures.

Competitive Salary - In addition to their base pay, employees are eligible for our company-wide bonus that is dependent on Wesco meeting our sales goals. We have met these goals every year for the past 10 years, the bonus is equivalent to 0-3 weeks of additional pay and is prorated for your first year. Employees in our Service and Operations departments are eligible for a monthly incentive program based on performance.
Requirements
What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, a candidate should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Have the basic knowledge to drive and move equipment in and out of building and on and off trailers
- Ability to operate sit down propane forklifts, order picker and stand-up narrow-aisle reach trucks safely to prevent damage and or injury
- Must have a valid driver license and qualify to drive company vehicle.
- Must be a self-starter, needing little to no supervision, organized and able to create a daily/weekly plan based on overall workload
- Must have the ability to read and analyze documents and procedure manuals
- Must be dependable and flexible with hours
- Requires the ability to multitask and handle situations responding to the needs of team members
- Must fully embrace teamwork and cooperation with co-workers within and outside of warehouse operations
- Must be detail oriented with solid administrative skills
- Must be able to respond to work demands during peak/emergency period
