Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Teaspoon.
• To uphold Teaspoon mission and values, and create the best customer experience possible.
• Greet customers and take food and drink orders.
• Execute deployment guidelines to prepare beverages and food as necessary to complete orders.
• Operate a POS system and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, provide accurate change to customers.
• Customer Service: Make sure customers are satisfied with drink products and able to provide friendly service.
• Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop and complete daily cleaning duties.
• Ability to multitask while paying special attention to details.
• Can stand for long periods of time.
• Control food cost and record any food waste.
• Inventory: organize and date (first in, first out rule!)
• Maintain food safety and freshness at all times.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification required prior to employment.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Job Requirements:

• 17 years of age or older
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.
• Meet required dress code.
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients.
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.
• Outgoing and friendly personality.
• Possess a strong sense of teamwork.
• Demonstrates a professional and ethical working attitude.
• Be willing to help store team as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships

Job Types : Part-Time.

Wage : $15.00-$16/hour (plus tips that will average $3.00-$6.00/hour)
