Cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating heart and vascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct cardiovascular examinations and tests.
Diagnose heart-related diseases and conditions.
Develop treatment plans, including medication and lifestyle changes.
Collaborate with surgeons for procedures when necessary.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Completion of internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship.
Board certification in cardiology.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting diagnostic tests.
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction.
