About the Role
The Company is in search of an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to serve as the principal technology leader, driving innovation and efficiency. The CIO will be responsible for anticipating and aligning IT strategies with institutional goals, ensuring data security, operational excellence, and service quality. This role involves managing technology personnel, IT projects, and strategic initiatives to support the academic and administrative functions of the institution. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement a technology vision and strategic IT roadmap, lead the IT services team, oversee IT infrastructure and investments, and drive digital transformation by integrating emerging technologies. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in technology, business administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical leadership or IT supervisory role. Key skills and expertise required include IT strategic planning, budgeting, personnel and vendor management, strong project management experience, and proficiency in networking, computing, and telecommunications technologies. The ideal candidate will also have a strong background in SQL database scripting, software administration, and data integrations, with a commitment to customer service excellence.
