We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team on the beautiful island of St. Thomas. This role offers you the freedom to create your own schedule as you provide care and support to patients and families during some of their most challenging times.

What Youll Do:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, mobility, and meals.
• Provide light housekeeping and assist with essential errands when no additional resources are available.
• Support patients emotionally by listening, offering encouragement, and being a steady presence.
• Clinically monitor, obtain vitals, and report changes in patients conditions to the supervising RN.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and attend regular in-service training (at least 12 hours annually).
• Attend biweekly group (IDG, Interdisciplinary Group) meetings to review, assess and report on current care plans, developing plans of care with all members of the patient's care team.

Qualifications:

• Required: Active CNA certification and completion of an approved training program.
• Required : Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and auto insurance.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in patient care or healthcare.

Location and Office:

Our office is based in St. Thomas for support, team meetings, and resources. We are only reviewing applications for serious applicants that current reside with the USVI.
