We are currently seeking a Compliance, Risk & Quality Improvement Coordinator to join our team. The home site for this position will be in Cook or Bigfork. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or as designated.
Summary of Position
The Compliance, Risk & Quality Improvement Coordinator will lead the coordination of the organization’s compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. This position will also facilitate quality improvement initiatives to promote improved healthcare outcomes.

Essential Functions
Complete annual reporting of clinical quality measures for Minnesota Community Measurements (MNCM) and Uniformed Data Set (UDS)
Complete quarterly reporting of clinical quality measures as defined by Quality Improvement Program, including data collection, preparation for analysis and presentation to stakeholders including the board of directors
Serve as the primary coordinator responsible for collecting and organizing all required data for the completion of the annual FTCA re-deeming application
Review FTCA guidelines and requirements for the Risk Management Program, coordinate the development, review and revision of SRHS practices and protocols to respond to identified risks and chosen loss prevention and reduction strategies
Coordinate Quarterly Risk Assessment in collaboration with management and medical director.
Support organization compliance initiatives, collaborating with all departments to assure compliance with rules and regulations on all levels
Present compliance policies and procedures to management to ensure they are up to date and reviewed at required frequencies
Oversee the integration of risk management with staff training and safety requirements in collaboration with site managers and related stakeholders
Complete monthly incident reports including near misses, clinical incidents, adverse events, and HIPAA violations
Prepare documents for reporting to the board of directors
Associate’s degree in health care field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education requirement
3-5 years of work experience in a clinic setting preferred
Knowledge of health care quality improvement, compliance and risk management activities of federally qualified health centers
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in Electronic Health Record preferred
Project Management Skills
Strong Computer and technical skills
Excellent Communication Skills including written and oral communication skills with all levels of staff
