Responsibilities Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures. Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive. - Reports any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper. Adheres to departmental uniform standards. Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings as scheduled. Follows established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms. Deep cleans elevators and other areas as assigned. Maintains a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned. Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets. Restocks Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with guest supplies and cleaning solutions. Reports damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper. Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; must be able to speak and understand English. Must have good customer service skills. Must have strong time management skills and the ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work. Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others. Ability to learn predefined protocols for carrying out cleaning tasks. Ability to follow verbal directions. Ability to evaluate the quality of guest area cleanliness. Must be able to perform the physical essential functions of the job.
