Job Description
Overbeke School of Driving was established with the goal of educating drivers throughout the greater Cleveland area. We strive to provide the best experience for student drivers of all ages and needs - from drivers who have recently obtained their temporary permits to experienced drivers who want to brush up on their winter driving skills and those hoping to obtain a license in the U.S./Ohio for the first time.
To achieve our goal in educating our communities, we need dedicated individuals to serve as licensed Driving Instructors who have the following qualities and qualifications:
Passion for education
Desire to learn
Flexibility
Patience
Exceptional communication and organization skills
Sense of humor and fun
Creativity
Ability to work nights and weekends - no hard requirement but must be flexible with schedule
A clean driving record (5 years) with fewer than 4 points and no OVIs
No criminal record (successful hire is subject to a background check)
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
High school education
The pay is competitive, and you will be compensated for training, once you’ve passed your driving exam and done 16 hours in the car.
