Summary Under direct and indirect supervision, provide Financial Intake support and education within Daymark. Serve as a liaison between Daymark and Reimbursement Manager to ensure timely communication and follow up for Daymark Financial Intake Staff. Engage and assist Daymark Financial Intake Staff with demographics and financial information including various payers and authorization processes. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Provides direct initial and ongoing training / education and support to Financial Intake Staff in person and virtually to ensure strict compliance with all professional standards, HIPAA, Medicaid, Medicare and Commercial Insurance regulations, Federal Poverty Guidelines, fee setting, inquiring about and checking eligibility and benefits for all payers. Ensuring all required financial intake paperwork is completed and signed by the client including Release of Information Forms. Authorization requirements for insurance and the Veterans Administration. Provide initial and ongoing education and support to front desk staff with the basics of current software for making appointments, check in / check out, taking / posting payments, printing receipts, printing batch listings, balancing batches, and posting daily batches. One-on-one training sessions with Reimbursement Manager in order to ensure proper procedures are being trained and followed. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. Special Attributes Must possess a great attitude, pleasant personality, work well with others, have a strong commitment to patient care, understand front office workflow as well as financial intake workflow, knowledge of the behavioral healthcare field, adequate computer skills, and training experience.
