Youtopia, a Colorado-based startup, has an opening for an Exponential Chef that will be working with a variety of Chefs and various Meal Makers across the Denver Metro area.. This role is full-time HQ office based with frequent travel to local restaurants and meal kitchens in the area. Candidates must reside in the greater Denver Metro area and must have their own transportation.. Position Overview As a Youtopian™ Exponential Chef – Culinary Trainer , you will lead the culinary education and operational excellence of Youtopia®-aligned restaurants and meal makers. Your mission is to train, mentor, and certify chefs and their food service organizations across the Youtopia® network to uphold the highest standards of nutrition, flavor, and consistency — while maintaining strong connections that enable continuous improvement based on customer and operational feedback . You will blend culinary innovation, nutrition analysis, systems thinking, and human connection to create a cohesive network of chefs who deliver the Youtopian™ experience to every customer, everywhere. Essential Functions Train, mentor, and certify chefs and culinary teams across partner restaurants in Youtopia® standards, techniques, and operational systems. Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and demonstrations to ensure consistent execution of recipes, presentation, and service. Serve as the culinary liaison with partner restaurants to ensure alignment with Youtopia® nutrient, ingredient, and product standards. Maintain regular communication with network chefs to gather, review, and respond to customer feedback on meal quality, nutrition, and satisfaction. Lead ongoing culinary audits and evaluations to maintain quality, compliance, and innovation across the network. Collaborate with Nutritional and Medical Scientists to ensure all training programs reinforce health-driven culinary principles. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) , best practices, and quality control systems across distributed culinary teams. Utilize data-driven insights from customer experience and operations to improve training programs and menu performance . Drive zero-waste and cost-efficiency initiatives through collaborative inventory and process optimization. Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and health-focused cooking among all Youtopia® partner restaurants, chefs, and meal makers. Education and Certification Requirements 7–10 years of experience in culinary innovation, product development, and/or food manufacturing. Background in Nutrition & Food Science . 3–5 years of experience in culinary training, instruction, or leadership roles. 1–3 years of professional kitchen management experience, including high volume meal standardization and production (i.e. large event catering). Demonstrated passion for healthy, delicious, and consistent food preparation. Experience with training program development , culinary curriculum design, or onboarding systems. Familiarity with sous vide and other nutrient-preserving cooking methods. Strong interpersonal, communication, and motivational skills. Ability to manage multiple training sites and priorities simultaneously. Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working in evolving environments. Commitment to continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Familiarity with computerized order management, order processing, proper labelling and other modern kitchen IT. Preferred Experience and Education SERVSafe Certified (preferred) or ability to complete within 30 days of hire. Experience in a start-up or franchise training environment . Experience with learning management systems (LMS) or digital culinary education tools. Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required A blend of chef, educator, coach, and systems leader . Expertise in simplifying complex culinary concepts for scalable replication across kitchens. Skilled in nutrient-preserving, health-optimized cooking techniques. Demonstrated success in building and sustaining chef networks across multiple locations. Deep understanding of Youtopia® Health standards and how to operationalize them in restaurant environments. Excellent communicator with the ability to train, motivate, and inspire chefs of varied backgrounds. Passion for continuous feedback loops —gathering insights from customers, translating them into improvements, and closing the loop with teams. Strong administrative and reporting skills to track training outcomes and operational consistency.
