Responsibilities:

  • Receiving stock as defined by the logistics procedures (physically and in system)
  • Perform standard daily routines and conduct audits to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining, deploy, and train team members on process documentation related to warehouse operations to ensure consistency and adherence to procedures.
  • Coordinate internal logistics, material flow, stock control, and inventory management to ensure smooth warehouse operations
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and industry standards, ensuring quality and service levels are met.
  • Responsible for managing waste and segregation practices in line with company policies and environmental standards
  • Supervise the warehouse and logistics team, assign tasks, and ensure efficient task execution.
  • Responsible for the implementation of health and safety standards, complete related reports, and resolve safety issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure job rotation and multitasking practices are implemented according to GAP standards to foster a flexible and skilled workforce
  • Follow up on warehouse equipment functionality and coordinate with maintenance or IT for necessary repairs
  • Responsible for the regular maintenance and servicing of forklifts in partnership with external service providers.
  • Ensure adherence to the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse.
  • Responsible for timely and accurate replenishment of materials to production lines to avoid operational delays
  • Conduct regular team meetings (Top 5), sharing key information such as safety incidents, important KPIs, and other relevant topics.
  • Guarantee the health and safety of all employees under your supervision, contributing to the execution of preventive actions and ensuring compliance with legal requirements, in collaboration with HR and HSE.
  • Coordinate employee training and support the management of environmental targets in the plant, working closely with HR and HSE teams
  • Partner with HR to address any employee performance issues, provide progressive counseling, and manage issues that may lead to escalation.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in similar position in Logistics and warehouse
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Quality knowledge regarding warehousing and logistics standards
  • Multivalence process knowledge (Mastery of workstations)
  • GAP structure, communication and escalation
  • Standardized work and procedures
  • 5S
  • Team management
  • Forklift operation and safety practices
  • Experience in ERP Systems (preferably SAP)
