Job DescriptionJob Description Maintenance Electrician - 2nd Shift | Now Hiring | Santa Fe Springs, CA Compensation Includes: Starting rate of $36.51-40/hour - paid weekly Available Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Benefits Include: Eligible for benefits first of the month following hire date Multiple medical and prescription drug coverage options- Choice of an Employer-Funded Health Care Account (HCA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) Integrated healthcare programs – telemedicine, chronic condition, weight management and msk health Multiple dental and vision plan coverage options Flexible spending accounts (FSA)- Healthcare, dependent care Company provided life and accidental death, short and long-term programs Supplemental life, accidental death, and buy-up options Accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance Employee well-being reward program Employee assistance program (EAP) Child and family care support program Educational assistance and tuition reimbursement program Employee discount program 401(K) with 6% company match (Eligible to participate from day one (1) with 100% vesting in all company provided money immediately) Responsibilities Performs planned electrical maintenance on all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process to ensure the integrity of electrical systems Diagnoses, troubleshoots and repairs/maintain all equipment and machinery for the thermoforming process including blenders, crystallizers, dryers, extruders, formers, trim presses, conveyors, and grinders Troubleshoots AC and DC drives and motors; PC and PLC controlled systems; heaters, thermocouples, and heat controllers; safety circuits Modifies new and existing equipment for performance improvements and upgrades Uses Maintenance Connection to record and close work orders accurately and in a timely manner Responsible for ensuring housekeeping in area(s) of responsibility are safe, clean and tidy Follows all Company established rules and policies Adheres to all Safety rules and regulations Analytical, problem solving, project management, strong technical/functional skills, customer service, interpersonal skills, oral communication, written communications, teamwork, judgment, organized, mechanical aptitude, electrical aptitude, detail oriented Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalency 2 year Electro-Mechanical technical degree 3-5 years related experience Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, blue print reading (mechanical/electrical), understanding of welding and fabrication Previous electrical experience with troubleshooting capabilities; Previous mechanical experience with troubleshooting capabilities Must be knowledge of PLC and PC controls Prefer experience using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Omron systems Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively Ability to work with others effectively as a part of a team is essential Flexibility to work overtime and off shifts as needed Pactiv Evergreen is one of the largest manufacturers of fresh food & beverage packaging in North America, with market leading positions across a broad range of products.
