Job Overview: As a technician with APW, you will play a vital role in our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to clean and maintain kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, and fans. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients' kitchens meet fire and health code standards, thereby safeguarding their operations against fire hazards and health risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed services of kitchen exhaust systems (hoods, ducts, fans) to ensure adherence to fire and health codes.
Create and process reports and documentation on work completed for the office and clients in regards to NFPA96 fire code
Operate specialized cleaning equipment, company vehicles and company tools.
Collaborate with team members, and communicate with the office to complete projects with a focus on efficiency and quality.
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and Operating Procedures, maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience in kitchen exhaust cleaning or related fields is beneficial, but not a requirement.
Demonstrated strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to learn.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
Ability to drive and travel on shift to customer sites.
Physically fit to handle equipment and perform manual tasks.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Must have a functioning cell phone.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
