Position Snapshot

• Role: School Nurse ( LVN/LPN)

• Location: Chula Vista Elementary School District + other sites across San Diego County

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, during school hours. Holidays off!

• Opportunities: Full-time and per diem

• Compensation: $30-$38/hour (DOE)

What You’ll Do

• Provide direct care and support to students throughout the school day

• Assist in Health Office operations or 1:1 student care assignments

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Respond to medical needs and emergencies with calm expertise

• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

• Maintain accurate, confidential health records

• Champion health education and wellness initiatives on campus

What You’ll Bring

• Active California LVN license (unencumbered)

• Valid CPR certification

• Experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing (preferred)

• Diabetic management, seizure management, and asthma management experience (preferred)

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Flexibility and heart to support diverse student needs
