Job Title: Technical Recruiter / Sourcer

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL OR Austin, TX

Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire (6–9 months)

Pay Range: $39–$41/hr

Work Schedule: Onsite Monday–Thursday (non-negotiable) & Friday remote

About the Role

We're seeking a driven, proactive Technical Recruiter to join our rapidly growing manufacturing organization in Buffalo Grove. As a key player in our recruiting team, you’ll help scale talent acquisition efforts across technical and manufacturing roles, supporting the company’s continued growth—especially in the high-precision and medical manufacturing space.

This isn’t a role for passive recruiters. We’re looking for someone who knows how to hunt top talent, build strong pipelines, and keep the hiring engine running at full speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, engage, and pipeline candidates for roles ranging from technicians and quality inspectors to engineers and industrial managers.
• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand position requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
• Conduct phone screens and candidate qualification before passing candidates along for interviews.
• Track recruiting metrics (pipeline status, conversion rates, time-to-fill, etc.).
• Thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment where urgency and quality go hand in hand.

Requirements

• Proven success as a proactive recruiter/headhunter , not just a post-and-pray sourcer.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing and technical roles (medical device manufacturing a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a high-output, high-performance culture .
• A strong network in the local manufacturing or medical device talent market.
• Familiarity with recruiting tools and platforms that support targeted technical sourcing .
