WORKING CONDITIONS :

Position requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and working outside under various weather conditions. Walk 3 to 5 miles per day on assigned route Lift up to 50 pound meter coverings. Be able to use a computer (handheld device) Be familiar with the lay out of the City of New Orleans Minimum Qualifications A valid driver's license.* High School Diploma or GED.* Six (6) months of experience reading water meters. * Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education and valid driver's license claimed by the applicant to qualify for this classification.
