McNally Industries, LLC in Grantsburg, WI is looking for the right individual to join our Welding Department.

Essential Duties and Qualificat i ons Include:

• Holds and maintains welding certifications for Products.
• Read blueprints and drawing
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Ability to set up difficult components for welding according to specifications.
• Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Assess and inspect welded surfaces, structures and components for accuracy
• Monitor work equipment and machinery to ensure usage is within optimum temperature
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Ability to move Material or finished components to and from workstations. Lifting requirement is 50lbs
• Perform other tasks as requested or required to support the needs of the business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational welding fabricator certificate required with no machining experience.
• 5+ yrs of fabrication experience required with no formal education/training/certification received.
• Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures (TIG/GTAW, MIG/GMAW, etc.)
• AWS (American Welding Society) D17.1-Aerospace Fusion Welding Standard certification preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and drawings.
