Job Title: Driver

Reports to: Transportation Manager

Department: Transportation/Car Service

Location: Midtown Garage (1415 Sansom St, Philadelphia, PA 19102)

Job Summary:

The driver’s main responsibility is to safely pick up Union League Members and transport them to their desired location in a professional manner. The driver is also responsible for maintaining the upkeep of each Union League Vehicle.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide premier customer service.
  • Will be required to be reasonably well-groomed and in complete uniform.
  • Maintain safe driving practices and follow all driving rules and regulations.
  • Making sure vehicles are fully gassed.
  • Complete interior cleaning of the vehicles, including wiping down the dashboard/center console and vacuuming the seats/floors.
  • Maintaining vehicle car wash.
  • Ensure accident reporting is handled immediately and correctly.
  • Filling out appropriate information on the Ride Service Chit (Member name, Member number, time leave/returning, address, name and date).

Skills and Requirements:

  • General knowledge of Philadelphia (Preferred)
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
  • Driver may need to make decisions with no guidance as things come up.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • 100% availability; may have to be on call.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Vehicles include Ford Explorer, Ford Expedition Max, 14 Passenger Ford Transit Van and 1938 Cadillac (3-on-the-tree transmission).
