Position Summary
The Research Assistant Healthcare Professions Pathway for Transfer Students ( HPPTS ) serves as a mentor to a three-person team of HPPTS students within a laboratory setting providing guidance and support throughout their research experience. This role involves assigning projects facilitating interactions with other lab members assisting students in understanding primary literature and preparing them for lab meeting presentations and the programs final symposium. The RA is expected to be present in the lab whenever HPPTS students are working attend HPPTS lab meetings and maintain regular communication with program staff regarding student progress.
